What is Sanity CMS?

Sanity is a cloud-hosted headless CMS that treats content entirely as structured data. It comes with "Sanity Studio," an open-source editing environment that developers can heavily customize using React. A major advantage of Sanity is its real-time collaboration feature, allowing multiple editors to work simultaneously, much like in Google Docs. Additionally, the structured data makes it easy to reuse content across apps, websites, and other digital channels. The disadvantage is the steeper learning curve for developers to set up the initial schemas, and the reliance on a proprietary, cloud-based database rather than owning your own infrastructure.
